A Place That Feels Like Home

Kuukpik was born from a simple belief: that travelers deserve a warm, welcoming space in one of the most remote and beautiful places on Earth. Nestled in the heart of Nuiqsut, we've been opening our doors to adventurers, families, and curious explorers for over a decade.

Our name means "place of the kuukpik" — the Arctic willow — a hardy plant that thrives in the toughest conditions. That's exactly what we aim to be: a resilient, comforting presence in the Arctic north, where every guest is treated like family.
